The Founder

Julie David, the founder of A Charity for Charities, spent many years as a volunteer with various nonprofits in Orange County. Primarily involved with development and fundraising, she chaired capital campaigns, produced black-tie galas, directed golf tournaments and oversaw other special events. David helped raise more than two million dollars for nonprofits in the Orange County area including The Alzheimer’s Association of Orange County, The Salvation Army, Children’s Hospital of Orange County, The American Cancer Society’s Cattle Baron’s Ball, The KOCE Foundation Board and Young Life.

David’s dedication to making the community a better place through volunteerism and philanthropy efforts helped her realize the need nonprofits have for new funding resources. Recognizing those needs, David founded A Charity for Charities, a nonprofit agency to assist other nonprofits. Through the efforts of David, her board of directors and community volunteers, A Charity for Charities has been involved in helping raise over $550,000 for nonprofit organizations and community agencies.
