About Us, A Charity for Charities

Mission

A Charity for Charities is a California nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose primary purpose is to educate the community about and raise funds for other nonprofit organizations that support but are not limited to youth, education and social service programs.

Why A Charity For Charities?

Many nonprofits in our community are struggling to keep up with the growing demands for programs and services while others are struggling to educate the community about their mission. Add to that a decline in donations and support dollars and you have a very big problem: Less manpower and dollars available but increasing needs and demands. A Charity for Charities was formed to help.

As a nonprofit charitable organization A Charity for Charities is committed to giving back to our community through the Lending a Helping Hand Fiscal Sponsorship Program and Community ¢ents. Funds raised are returned to community nonprofits providing them with financial support for their programs and services.

Since its inception in 2004, A Charity for Charities has helped raise funds for nonprofit organizations and community agencies including:
