Operation: Support Our Heroes

—for the Children of the Marines who Serve and the Returning Wounded Warriors. A fundraising dinner hosted by a group of Orange County business and professional men and women committed to s upporting the programs the YMCA Armed Services at Camp Pendleton provides to the children of the Marines protecting our country and those wounded in combat.

Operation Hero--Providing after school mentoring and tutoring programs for kindergarten through middle school addressing the challenges faced by many Camp Pendleton children including:

Feelings of isolation in new or old surroundings due to frequent or long-term deployments by one or both parents.
Academic difficulties due to low self esteem, self-doubt & frequent moves.

The Wounded Warriors Battalion West--Providing and facilitating assistance to wounded/injured/ill Marines and Sailors attached to or in support of Marine units, and their family members, throughout the phases of recovery.

Established in April 2008, the Nonprofit Organization Network's mission is to serve nonprofit and / or community-based organizations by providing supportive services, networking opportunities, and informative seminars for this unique sector. The Nonprofit Organization Network's goal is to help those who help.

Limited funds, limited resources, and limited time are just a few challenges almost all nonprofits face. The Nonprofit Organization Network was established to bring nonprofit and/or community-based organizations together to discuss these common challenges as well as share insight and wisdom as to how to overcome these challenges.

The Nonprofit Organization Network welcomes any and all nonprofit and/or community-based organizations to join the Network to help support other nonprofit organizations and to strengthen your own organization.
